Trying to find the parents of basil Arthur probert

States born Feb 1920 ? and died Feb 2000 Hereford

He was in the parachute regiment in 2 nd world war and fought in the arnham conflict

Then married a Phyllis Powell ( her 2 nd marriage ) about 1948ish

Where I am researching

Also cannot find a marriage of a probert to a Charles ( his mother's  maiden name  ??

Think I spotted a couple of Probert/Charles marriages in 1904 (Crickhowell), 1907 (Abergavenny) and 1912 (Bedwellty)
