Looking for a birth

The only information I have is a Michael Thomas Murphy born circa 1863 somewhere in Cork to parents Thomas Murphy & Johana Keefe. I have searched irish genealogy site diocese of Cork & ross with no result also looked for a marriage of parents no result. My problem is I do not have their location in Cork.  Would appreciate any assistance thank you.

Not all of Co.Cork is in Cork and Ross some is in Cloyne, also not all the parishes of Cork and Ross are on Irish Genealogy St. Mary's in Cork city for example. You can do a cross check of the list on Irish Genealogy with the map on NLI.
Using the free search on Ancestry might find him, but if you don't have a subscription you can't see which parish or the mother's maiden name but you only need to check the date Ancestry gives for each possible going parish by parish on NLI.

Possibly quicker to search the civil Reg for a child born to those parents 1864 to say 1870 that would narrow down the parish to search for Michael. FamilySearch might be easier for this.
Don't be surprised if Thomas isn't on the baptisim.

A published tree cites the marriage of Michael Thomas Murphy and Mary T Crowley -1887 Cambridge MA.
Parents -Thomas and Hannah. A witness was Michael Keefe.
