Still looking for death records of my GG Grandfather Patrick Menton who was born roughly between 1814 - 1834 and I think it is more likely to be in the earlier years as his brother Peter was born roughly around 1809.
I have had extensive help from this forum already in previous posts looking for the death without any luck so to avoid wasting anyones time maybe read the other posts to familiarize yourself with the family circumstances.
Cavan is a longshot here as no other family records have been found here and it was usually Wexford/Galway/Offally/Dublin and Wicklow.
The reason this particular death record in Cavan is likely is because the age of Patrick as well as occupation and wife's name are all about right so its the closest thing yet to a positive result.
Below is the link for irishgenealogy for the death cert but I am unfamiliar with the address where death occurred and cant find anything online for this place either.
It is called Owengallas or Owengalees and if anybody could tell me where it is it might help to narrow things down.
Variation of surname is Mentane.
