Tracing family
« on: Friday 31 May 19 18:43 BST (UK) »
Hi all, Newbie here!

Im trying to trace family from Maidstone Kent by the surname Doyle.
My uncle's name is Edward Joseph but went by Eamon. I know at some stage he married a woman called Susan Walls possibly scottish. He has 2 daughters.
Last known address is Charlbury Close.
All info or help appreciated!

Any of these still living?
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

I'm hoping so. Eamon would be in his 70s originally from Ireland but in England over 40 years. Don't know much about Susan but the daughters would be in their 40s/50s.

Rootschat is not for tracing the living only the dead. Try Social media sites such as Facebook.

The marriage was details removed, and their names (daughters) are not as you have spelled them.

Look in free bmd

https://www.freebmd.org.uk/

Added:
There is a further marriage in details removed  which might be him also.

If you search for births in Maidstone by putting in both parents surnames and choose a time frame after the marriage, say 1966-1976 you should find the children.

The marriage was in details removed as chempat has said, try putting in her full name and his surname on the search and the information should come up.
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos
Pick - Frocester Glos

Look for Doyle/Walls births for the daughters, and Edward J Doyle marriages for your uncle.

Have you got his year of birth to look for deaths?
