The
Friends of Key Hill Cemetery & Warstone Lane Cemetery will be attending the Genealogy Show at the National Exhibition Centre ( NEC ) Birmingham Friday 7 & Saturday 8 June to assist with burial plot and section numbers of your ancestors grave.
The Friends are the only group to maintain these two historic cemeteries in
Birmingham Jewellery Quarter, Hockley and also raise funds for the restoration of headstones, where the good and the great of Birmingham rest.
Guided Tours of each cemetery are the second Sunday of the Month except for December.
Key Hill Cemetery was formally known as the General Cemetery and is non- denominational
Warstone Lane Cemetery Church of England was sometimes known as Brookfields Cemetery or the Mint Cemetery by locals.
Also attending are
Birmingham & Midland Society of Genealogy & Heraldry also known as Midland Ancestors. Good transport links to the NEC are by car, rail, bus and plane .
