It was very interesting thanks Andrew.  All the planning that went into it makes it a fascinating feat.  The fact that they kept it secret was amazing.

Secrecy not so surprising then. An American referred to us being a tight little island, no longer so. One German agent landed successfully, buried his parachute and radio and looked for the nearest pub, went in and ordered a cup of coffee......they must have all been captured and turned around. Either be a double agent or the hangmans rope.
