Tragically she succumbed to pneumonia after a short illness and died in Ruchill Hospital on 2nd February 1918  :'(

Youngest Peebles "D" born 1931 was an optician in Lincolnshire.

Another piece of information - less unnecessary jargon -

Will of Isabel Wood Meldrum died 2/2/1918 testate. Confirmation granted at Glasgow 27th March 1918 to Mary Aitken or Lawson, 12 Ure Place her half sister. Value £411.19.5d

Now to find Mary.

Mary Aitken or Lawson - born 1861 Liverpool - she was the daughter of Peter Meldrum's 2nd wife Isabella Aitken by her 1st husband Alexander Aitken.

Mary married John Lawson in 1901 and died on 31/8/1950 informant was R. Carswell, Solicitor.

Wonder if Mary left a will????
