With the new GDPR regulations CWGC are unable to instigate contact with anyone without their permission. Its handy if we can find a relative and hopefully they are willing to contact CWGC.

Just trying to check the children of Elizabeth Meldrum Peebles who would have been a half sister of Isabel and see what I can turn up.

That's great. Thank you for your help. Greatly appreciated.  It's wonderful if these people get the commemoration they deserve and fabulous if a relative comes forward.

Hi Sandra and Dorrie

I wonder if contacting the tree owners on a/try would be worth trying? Obviously connected but not clear just from the trees how they connect.

Made a note in reply 3 - that I have contacted a tree owner Monica. I usually decide depending how many people they are quoting in the tree as well.   :-\

Elizabeth Meldrum (Peebles) died in 1935 and her children were as follows -

1.  Margaret - 1886 to 1969 - Sheffield - no further info.
2.  Janet      -  1886 appears to have gone to USA
3.  David      -  1889 to 1973 - Cirencester.
4.  Thomas   -  1893 to 1965 Yorkshire.  He appears to have had at least 2 children.

With your permission Sandra I can contact the tree owner and see if he is a relative or knows of anyone.

Think the Meldrum one is the one you meant and the one I have sent a message to earlier. Didn't look at the Peebles info earlier  ???

Looks like Janet Peebles wasn't married - single and quotes her brother in Worcester as nearest relative. Going to a friend (also a nurse) in New York 1939 - which makes her 53 years old then.
