Commonwealth War Graves Commission would ike to contact relatives of Private William Ward - service number 6618 who died 22/8/1914 - buried Glasgow (St Kentigerns) RC Cemetery.

Recent research has shown that Private William Ward is buried Glasgow (St Kentigerns) RC Cemetery. Sec 2 Lair 1803 - The commission is in the process of producing a headstone to mark his grave.

Thanks Monica - missed that - very sad - ) "died by accidentally falling into the Clyde in the early hours of the morning of August 22nd 1914 at Fairfield Dock, Govan, whilst on guard duty " 

Hadn't found an awful ,lot on him - must be children but haven't found there names yet - got side tracked
