Elizabeth Taggart I think remarried in 1918 in Blythwood/Glasgow to a John W H Kerr.

She died in 1951 at the age of 74 in Tradeston Glasgow. Also three surnames listed on the index.

In 1881, there are three Ward Children showing as patients at The Relvidene Fever Hospital and Smallpox Hospital in Bridgeton Glasgow:

Catherine Ward 9
Ann Ward 7
William Ward 5

Wondering whether this is him and some siblings.

A Catherine Ward married a Neil Campbell Currie. Her parents are given as Hugh Ward and Mary Maitland. An Annie Ward aged 17 shows in the Currie household in 1891 as a 'visitor'. Catherine married Neil young.

1871 has this transcription:

Hugh Wardy 25 tobacco spinner b. Ireland
Mary Wardy 25 b. Ireland
Hugh Ward 5
James Ward 2

Address: 13 Cavendish St Back Land, Glasgow Govan/ Tradeston

Possible marriage for a Hugh Ward and Mary Maitland in Hutchesontown, Glasgow 1867.

Guessing this is William's brother, Hugh in 1891:

Hugh Ward 26 shoemaker b. Glasgow
Sarah Ward 25
Hugh Ward 2

Address: 11 Main St, Glasgow Gorbals

Sister Annie looks to have married a John Aitken just before 1900.

Sandra, at least we have a feel as to his family. In the absence of direct descendant(s), extended family may also be happy to make contact with CWGC.
