What names witness The 1882 Marriage?
What address(es) did the bridge & Groom wed from?
what occupation did the groom have?

Where did they go after marriage?
I can see a similar man ( US citizen )  on a manifest in 1909

If you are sure about the birth of Robert being 1863, there was only one registration that year,

 DUNN, ROBERT  JOSEPH  = Q4/1863 mother    HUGHES 

Robert Dunn senior married Mary Ann Hughes Q3/1852 Liverpool

Colin
Clarke, Trickett, Orton, Lawless, Norton, Detheridge, Kirby, Goodfellow, Wagstaff, Lowe, etc.

 when doing research I thought huges was right but Robert joseph died a year later after birth  thanks

as far as I know stayed in Liverpool Robert dunn 1863 had a son garrett dunn 1886 thanks

I checked all census and he isn't on any
