Hi Suzy I can see from your profile you are quite a distance away so you might not be aware of the Scottish records ...The records on Find my past and Ancestry are just transcriptions done by volunteers and several mistakes can be make ..The original documents are on Scotland's People if you have not used this site before www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk you will need to register ..You can buy 30 credits for £7.50 it will use up 6 credits for getting a copy of the marriage certificate which you can view and download ..The records we have on Scotland's People have a lot of information on them with parents names /occupations /addresses ..Hope this helps and if we can help with anything else just let us know ..good luck with your research
