Same parents here

John Doyle 31st March 1855 Dysart Parish

https://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls000633899#page/16/mode/1up

Thomas Doyle 23rd August 1858 Dysart Parish

https://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls000633899#page/24/mode/1up

Have added them to my family tree, seems they only had three children... This made me think one of the parent may have died early.

Still searching for clues on Catherine and Dominic's parents now.

Hi again... Been trying to search Anne Doyle's parents records for weeks with no luck

Also I couldn't track down Mathias O'Connor's birth/baptism record - seems his father was Mathias/Matthew O'Connor (this was mentioned on #15 by Myluck! re marriage cert) and his death record says he was 52 in 1895 which means he was born around 1843....

One of my late cousin spoken to my 2nd cousin in the 1960's that Mathias had a brother called Peter and nephew called Bill (possible William). That's all I got about Mathias.

I've managed to get in touch with some of descendants, they too don't have any information. Need help from you guys if possible?

There is a possibility here - Kilkeevin Parish
Matthew Connor/s 22nd March 1842 (indexed as Connors with mmn Hallman)
https://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls000633928#page/31/mode/1up

Another birth to the same couple
Margaret Connor 13th April 1844
https://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls000633928#page/55/mode/1up

And another
Mary 17th December 1848
https://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls000633928#page/97/mode/1up

There is also, however, Patrick Connor 17th January 1836 with parents Matthew Connor and Mary Gara
https://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls000633927#page/92/mode/1up

I have anglicised the names

Indexes (Ancestry) also show

Johannem Connor 4th May 1840
Annam Connors 26th April 1856
Eleonoram Connor 21st June 1857
Aliciam Connor 24th November 1858

Not the sibling you mention, although Patrick/Peter can be interchanged

Thanks... Can you read it with ease?  :o I couldn't find it

Clarify, both different parents have Mathias Connor with them? Or were they all from same parents on two different sites?

EDITED:

Got it, both same parents... Will try and work around on those informations to see if Peter/patrick's mother passed away before Mathias remarry.

Not sure what you mean.

All the names are on the Ancestry index search - Catholic registers.
They are also available on the NLI site https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0551

They are difficult to read -none easy and some worse than others.

All seem to have the same parents - mother Hallman (a couple of variations) except the first in 1836 who has a mother Gara.

It may be the same family - she may have died - we don’t know.

None may be yours, of course  :)

I've edited my post before seeing your reply.

I will try and see if there's connection via Ancestry DNA

Would it be easier if I fly over to Roscommon and do the tracing there in person?

It would be a lovely holiday, if nothing else   :)

Sometimes, baptismal records show a townland which you might want to check if any of those do but they are mostly difficult to read, if I recall.

DNA matches might be helpful, of course.

I have looked for a few of those children’s names for marriages but can’t spot any.

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.
