If you are hoping to make contact with family, you may have some luck tracing some rellies mentioned in obits or certs in the current telephone directory. Put just last name in the person box and British Columbia in the place box.....

Gosh that was quick!  I do have one or two of the certificates already mentioned like the drowning but I can see I have my evening full now by printing off everything and going through it all.

son - Clarence George Westley was awarded the Croix De Guerre Avec Etoile De Bronze - 28/4/1945 - in recognition of gallant and distingusihed service.

Sadly - Clarence George Westley died in a house fire.

Informant on the death certificate was sister Kathleen R Symons. Smoke Inhalation/carbon monoxide poisoning/ severe burns.  Clarence was divorced from Helen Fischer.
