Susan Holyday when was she born?

Kent OPC have the baptisms for Nonington on line and the only Holyday(and variations) baptism to John and Elizabeth is Mary in 1679, which you already have.

   I tried to investigate the Kingston Susan, daughter of David. There is a burial of Susan Holyday there in Aug. 1707, which is probably her. I thought about the mother, but there is a baptism of another child of David in Aug.1708.

Thanks top of the hill for this information I had viewed it and came to the same conclusion as you that I can probably discount this Susan.
Now I’m off to sort out the other two.

The parents Stephen and Susanna had the following children
Susanna 1698 Hernhill/Boughton Bleane
Mary 1700/ 1701 Hernhill
Ann 1703 Bishopsbourne
Elizabeth 1706 Bishopsbourne

As Bishopsbourne is not far from Nonington I would be inclined to think this family is looking like a strong contender to be the right one. As they obviously moved when Susan was very young she would likely think of this area as where she came from.
I would be interested in anyone else’s opinion.

   You probably already know that Stephen and Susannah married in Bishopsbourne at a date which fits well. I agree that Bishopsbourne to Nonington is OK; B'bourne to Boughton would be more unusual, but the dates fit.

Thanks for the conformation top of the hill. It looks as though they married in Bishopsbourne and then lived in Boughton where he was from and has Susan. They then moved back to the Bishopsbourne area for the births of the next family members. Oh well it gives me something to follow up on while I watch the tennis tonight.
