Well, I've spent the past couple of days knee-deep in Bassons galore - getting sidetracked, of course, when I came across names from other branches in my FT
The various Nicolas Joh.Salomons and Willems took a bit of untangling, but I think "my" Basson branch is correct back to the SV/PROG now - and Johanna Visser's branch was relatively easy (thanks to the Cape Orphan Chamber inventories). So time for my next brickwall ...................
