ID this Cap badge please (WW1)
« on: Friday 12 July 19 17:18 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone,

I have a photo here of Stanley Pickles (born 1896, Colne, Lancs). I have no idea what regiment he was in and have never found any records related to him. All i know is that he survived the war.

Would anyone be able to recognise the cap badge? I know it's a bit blurry and hard to see, sorry about that.

Thanks,
Pendlelad

He is a Royal Engineer.

I am Zoe Northeast, granddaughter of Maximilian Double.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
Zoe
