There is a Mary Richards born 1852 Llangollen, Denbighshire on the 1861 census Merionethshire, Wales, Registration District: Corwen. Living with brother James Richards.
Registration Number: RG09. Piece/Folio: 4313 / 7. Page Number: 7
 I can't see the whole census perhaps someone can see it.

Thanks Solidrock. An interesting situation whether it's my Mary or not. There is a Factory House next door employing 39 people making flannel so maybe Mary's brother is an important enough employee as a wool dyer to have his own abode. The lack of parents to Mary aged 9 . . . tough times

FamilySearch do not have the previous page, the fact that are listed as son and daughter means there must be a head.

Added.

Ancestry appears to have the complete 1861 with mother, father and sibling but I have'nt got sub right now.

Thanks Kay99. Missed that - 2 addresses, albeit next to each other, but potentially one family. Not sure I understand how the son and daughter of Mr & Mrs Jones are surname Richards. Given the age difference between 'parents' and 'children' might they be grandparents/grandchildren? Just a thought.
