I am looking for ancesters for Jennie Richmond Married John William Martin in Newport Glamorgan Wales in 1933 son Walford Royston Martin Born 1935, John married again in 1938.

Have you got the marriage certificate for her father's name, and do you know her approximate age?

I can see 5 births for Jennie Richmond from 1890 to 1917 - none in Wales.

The second marriage of John W Martin was not in Wales in 1938 (or I cannot see it).

Was he widowed on his second marriage?

Walford died in 2009 - did he stay with his mother or father?

From information supplied from woolweaver as to the second marriage, i.e. bride's name and place, it was in 1937, though that does not help, really.

Walford is on the 1939 register with John D Martin and Elizabeth A Martin.  Close inspection of the original suggests that the D should be a W.

John's birth date is 24 January 1907.  His occupation is Machine attendant coke ovens.

Walford's birth date has been written as 17 Dec 1934 and someone has added above it 17 Dec 35 (KMS).

There are three possible births for John in the March quarter of 1907:-

Hi,

Although Ancestry has transcribed John's first marriage as to Jennie RICHMOND the GRO image shows that her name is Jessie RICHMOND (there is a Jennie above her in the list so it seems to be a mistranscription).

I found this death,

Jessie MARTIN    Sept Q 1937    Glamorganshire    11a  710
Age:  28

which could explain how John remarried later the same year.
