Miss F Williams, Birkenhead
« on: Thursday 18 July 19 22:27 BST (UK) »
I found this letter displayed in the Musée de la Résistance at Mont-Mouchet, in France and wondered if anyone could claim Miss Williams as a family member? :)

As she gave her full address it could be possible to find her family on the 1939 register and track her forward.

Imagine the surprise of a descendant learning that granny was a cheeky one as a young woman!  :) :)

I have had a look at 1939 but couldn't pin her down to any of the possible young women. I don't have full access to the site though so maybe someone else will have more luck!

In the 1914 directory the occupant of 3 Duncan Street was Luke Nolan (same as in 1911),

Well she wasn't at 3 Duncan Street in 1939 - no one with the name Williams.
