Help finding info on Thomas Edward Day

Thanks everyone for your efforts.You are all very clever and have found the correct entries for Mary Cecilia and Nellie. As I mentioned in previous posts, I have most of that information already. It is Thomas that I would like you guys to focus on. He signed the marriage register in 1904 and his occupation was Tradesman. Mary married again both in Western Australia I think. 2nd marriage name was Scandella, dont know his first name; 3rd one and the name on her headstone was Rizzi. I will look for these now. The date of the 2nd marriage may give me a date range for Thomas death, if not his birth. Mary was 20 years old in 1904 so I am guessing Thomas was the same or older. So far all the Thomas Day entries are too young or too old.

No mmn on record.  Married at St. Pauls Cathedral Melbourne.  Witnesses look like Roy Smith and Stanley Allen.

Part image.   Who is Richard Knight?

Richard Knight was,  as per the image snip you attached, noted as PM ( Police Magistrate) and Guardian of Minors.  You needed to be 21 years old to give your own consent to marry.  I suspect the bride had no knowledge of the then current location of any close adult living relatives to ask them to give consent.  PM and Guardian of Minors were senior positions within the public service  structure.

Oh well done solid rock! Are these deaths or marriages? Where can I find them so I can get more details? Yes, Mary Cecilia was called Molly/Mollie (I didn't menton that) The spelling of Day/Daye is confusing. Thomas Edward Day signed his marriage cert Day; yet both Molly and Nellie (Eileen, didn't mention that either) spelled it Daye? Might make finding Thomas a little more likely…..

Mariel I know that you want to find out more about Thomas,but without more info about his wife and child,it is going to be impossible to pin him down. We search for the smallest clue to find records of him so that we can get a DOB and parents for him.

We need as much info as possible to do so.
