Logans of Galway
« on: Wednesday 24 July 19 22:10 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone, I've been looking for some family in Manchester and the census mentions three people all born in Galway. They are

Thomas Logan a Tailor born in 1811 and his wife Julia (or Judith) born in 1817 and their son Edward Logan born in 1847.

Other rootschatters have suggested that Julia's maiden name may be Higgins as two of their later children, Ellen born 1857 & Margaret born 1854 seem to fit with this. I cannot find records for their other two daughters who the 1861 UK census records list as being born in Manchester; Onera Logan born 1849 and Ann Logan born 1859.

Could anyone help me to see if there any records for Thomas and Julia's wedding in Galway or anything for their son Edward.

Any help would be great, thanks.
Luke
