Looking for Eliza/Elise JONES d.6 March 1939, Bexhill

We do not need any information about OLIVER family.  Just trying to track Eliza JONES (family story says she was "Elise" but records so far point to Eliza).

Eliza JONES married Charles Thomas OLIVER 31 October 1922 at the Register's Office - 2B/140 (have certificate):

Eliza & Chas had three children (all deceased):
Gwendoline Vera (died NZ) - she was 15/16 when her mother died - none of her children can provide any more information
June Rosemary (died UK) - only child can’t provide more information
Dudley (probably Dudley Charles) (drowned Montrose, Scotland, c.20 July 1949. AC RAF #63 Maintenance Unit).

Eliza died 6 March 1939 i.e. before the 1939 Register was compiled (have death certificate, sorry don't have access to the number at the moment)

Thank you both for your helpful replies.
Working on both sets of info and choosing Cecilia as the least common name - there is a marriage to KNOWLES June 1/4 1930.  Is it worth getting that marriage cert in the hope that Eliza (by that time) OLIVER is a witness?  Or is there more logical searching still to be done before purchasing certificates?
I'm doing this for neighbour and not sure she'll want to lay out $ on a just-in-case-basis.

I’m thinking if Cecelia married in Dudley, and Eliza was down in Sussex, then Eliza is unlikely to have been a witness. 

Might have to wait until 1921 census.

Are any of the names of the siblings of the Eliza we found repeated in the family?

Is there an Eliza Jones married in Dudley  (which would rule out her being your neighbour’s)

Yes, I agree Eliza was unlikely to be witness...would be a great shortcut to proof of connection though.  She says clutching at straws!
The only repeated name is my neighbour (Elise).  She was led to believe she was named after her maternal grandmother, but records say otherwise.
Your idea of checking out other Eliza marriages in Dudley is a good one.  I shall attack that over the next few days.

The family you found does look pretty good though with dad’s occupation, his matching first names and based in Dudley.  I guess some people would name their child after their home town.

There is a mention of her death and funeral
Bexhill on Sea Observer 11th March 1939

Mourners at the funeral were  Mr ? Oliver, widower (C T Oliver as mentioned earlier in the piece),Miss Jones, sister,Mrs Knowles, sister and Miss g  ?
The paper is faded at the edge so can t read where question marks are.
Mentions her address too

That ties her to the family via Mrs KNOWLES.  That’s Cecilia mentioned above.
Now to find another two linkages to have the confident ‘proof’.
