at a loss how to search.
« on: Saturday 27 July 19 16:38 BST (UK) »
I am ok searching in England x got the general idea.x

but Canada is over whelming Me , seems to be so many rules , things you are not allowed to search for.

should I give up on this,

trying to find proof that a boy born about Sept/Oct 1956 Kitimat. was ever born, birth cert, register of any type.

if He was adopted in Vancouver in 1958,  or if He died in 1958.

or went on to live a full life .

Hi,

You can check for BC deaths here (the birth year is too recent for that information to be public).

You can also find this information on familysearch.

A few other possibilities:
Google the surname and location.
Try the US people finder sites, in case he moved there.
Whitepages.com, veromi.com, are the more reliable.
others, usually out of date or too vague: spokeo, fastpeoplesearch [or whatever it's called], but google will usually turn up these sites as well.

Good idea to check the US as well.

To find someone in Canada - you can use the Canada411 site.

"but Canada is over whelming Me"

I understand.  My heart sinks when I see that one of mine crossed the border into Canada.

I find this site useful for my Canadian research: http://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/eng/Pages/home.aspx

However, I think the main problem you are going to run into is that Canada has fairly strict data protection and privacy regulations so there will be little information published for the person you are researching.

I understand.

Know the feeling well, some of mine left Glasgow for Canada.
