Baptism of Ann PENTECOST about 1726
« on: Thursday 01 August 19 09:42 BST (UK) »
Ann PENTECOST & Samuel UNSTED [bap 13 Nov 1726 Westdean by Seaford] married 01 Jan 1752 at East Blatchington.

The couple moved to Seaford and had issue [8 births].

I am hoping to locate Ann's baptism and her parents.  There is a baptism in 1728 of an Ann  PENTECOST daughter of Thomas & Martha at Rodmell, Sussex. This seems to be a long way from Seaford however this is the most viable baptism that I have located. I am aware the most viable doesn't make it correct however I am seeking an opinion and other suggestions please.

Thoughts???

Westy

Hi Westy
There's a burial of an Ann Pentecost at Rodmell, 28 Aug 1729
BT here

Nothing to say who she is, young or old. Baptism you mention is two images back (faded).
Rodmell parish registers of the time filmed and indexed by FamilySearch but no images.
Sorry, not a lot of help.
John

Hello John,

i think you have been a big help as it seems the Ann of Rodmell died young.  Back to the drawing board.

Nonetheless thanks once again.
