I have lost a family in 1861, I have checked the missing 1961 list on FindMyPast and the area is not listed as missing so can anyone find this family please?

Birthyears and birthplaces?  Any children?

Monmouth? Tetbury is in Gloucestershire on the English side of the Severn.

According to Ancestry there are quite a lot of missing parishes in the Welsh 1861 census returns.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

3984 Dingestow seems to be the only Monmouth one missing from the FindMyPast site

Have you tried the Police Gazette dataset on Ancestry? They may have articles that can help you to narrow down where to look for Edmund around 1861.

The nearest I have found him is Oct 1859 when he was in Monmouth.

1851 census has him living in Tetbury, birthplace ‘Gloster, Mitcheldeane’.
