William Samuel Whittuck born in Totonto?

Herbert Slater WHITTUCK is on the "England & Wales, Civil Registration Birth Index, 1837-1915", but can't be found on the GRO site. I think it could just be a missing entry, I have filled in the error report form, hopefully it will be amended soon.

In all the census entries he gives his birth as Keynsham.

I wonder if Charles Stanley WHITTUCK died very soon after his birth but why would they register his birth but not death?

 I can't find any sign of him after his birth and there is this entry in newspapers, "a son",

I have also found him baptised 4 May 1852 in Bristol, marriage to Madelina Helen Fox 3q 1875 Keynsham 5c 1053. She died 1q 1920 Keynsham 5c 717.
Frederick Edward Whittuck died 4q 1932 Chippng Sodbury 6a 248. He was a Solicitor - censuses 1881 to 1911.

I am still seeking the birth for William Samuel Whittuck born in Totonto.

I've just found this

If you go "Preview an image of this record." and look at pages 66 and 67 it shows the "Statement of Services" of Wm Jas WHITTUCK, he is transcribed as WHITTACK when searching for this record both at the NA and FindMyPast.

It gives his birth as 27th November 1811, the marriage to Frances Matilda SLATER, the birth of Frances Ann and the birth of William Samuel 

5th April 1846, London Canada West

With so many surname variations it is not easy to find all the missing people.

I started with the surname Whittick because a great aunt married a Whittick and going back found Whittuck; Whittack; whittuch and few more who make the searching harder.
