Take a look at this map https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/#zoom=15.9&lat=56.74533&lon=-2.47876&layers=5&b=1 - you'll see that the Montrose Royal Lunatic Asylum was built on land next to a farm named Hillhead. This map was surveyed in 1862.

Then look at https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/#zoom=15.9&lat=56.74679&lon=-2.47859&layers=168&b=1 and see how it has grown, and note that Hillhead is no longer named on the map.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
