Charles Farren & Catherine Docherty in Connacht
« on: Friday 16 August 19 13:17 BST (UK) »
I am trying to find out any info on Charles Farren and his wife Catherine, nee Docherty. I estimate they both were born c. 1840 or so. They had a son named Charles born c. 1865. This son Charles later moved to Glasgow and married Ellen McInally in Bridgeton, Glasgow on 31st October 1889.
This enquiry is on behalf of a descendant of these Farrens, and she believes from family tradition that they originated in Connacht.
I know there is not much to go on but would greatly appreciate any help whatsoever.

If I have posted this in the wrong place then would admin please move to the correct place.
Thank you
JW
Willison and Pattison (in Glasgow) 1800s on, Kinnes (Perthshire 1600s-1700s & Fife 1800s), Mathieson (Glasgow, Cambuslang, Paisley)

Have you searched for a birth registration? civil registration of births began 1864.

How do you know Parent's names?

Did they stay in Ireland?

I did this Search on https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp

for deaths of  Catherine Farron ANYWHERE   Link:   http://www.rootschat.com/links/01o7t/

you will still need to solve Captcha security and sign in.

All part of the Irish Govt Website!
