So if George Blount was born in 1903 you should be able to find him on the 1911 census.

I don't know how much experience you have of researching your family history -- but the 1911 census is the most recent census which can be accessed by the public -- the 1921 census should come out in 2021.

There is however the 1939 register taken at the outbreak of World War 1 for issuing identity cards to the population of England and Wales.

To access census records and the 1939 register it's a good idea to register with a subscription site such as Ancestry or Find My Past. However you can find transcribed census records in addition to lots of baptism and marriage records on a free site -- Family Search. You need to register but you can search for free.

www.familysearch.org

George's parents will appear on the 1901 census and as Rosie has found their marriage in 1900 they should be together on that. It will show their age last birthday on that census and their birth place to help you track them backwards.

You will obtain the names of their fathers from a marriage certificate which you can order from the General Register Office.
Places of interest;
Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Southern Ireland, Scotland.

Hello
There is a school record
George Blount born 21 July 1903 son of Valentine admitted to St Chads School 1910
of 72 Byron St
left to work 27 July 1917.

So does look like Valentine and Annie are his parents and the school just made a mistake with 21st for 31st

He joined the Air force 6 Mar 1923 as an apprentice fitter
dob 31st July 1903 wife Amy Day
