 I am trying to trace the wedding of William Goose & Alice, whose son William was born in Hauxton in 1685. Any help would be much appreciated.

Whislt looking for the marriage of William Goose to Alice, which I can't find, I came across another William Goose baptism in Hauxton, 21 October 1690 parents William and Alice. There is a burial for a William Goose in 1685 in Hauxton, no other details given, so it looks as though the William baptised 1685 died and the couple named another son William five years later.

Just reread the title of your query. Why are you looking for a marriage in 1705?

Burial of an Alice Goose, 29 July 1696, Hauxton
William + Alice had a daughter Alice baptized 10 May 1685 at Hauxton.  She may have died in infancy? As there is a burial of an Alice there, 22 May 1685.

Speculation
Wife Alice dies in 1696
William Goose remarries in 1699 to Elizabeth Free
Daughter Mary born 1703 (father a yeoman)
Daughter Susanna (of your earlier thread) born 1706

The Consistory Court of Ely Probate Index has a record, probably a will, for William Gosse senior, yeoman, 1720, Hauxton.

Also probate for an Elizabeth Goose, widow, 1758, Hauxton. Can't say for sure who she was.
