Hi

Looking for the wedding of William & Sarah Ansell, possibly Waltham Abbey where their son William was baptised in 1708.

Kind Regards

David

Daughter Mary was baptised there 26 jan 1703. So wedding earlier.
Didn’t find a marriage waltham abbey, chingford, Loughton, nazeing, Epping.
Might be worth posting elsewhere as waltham abbey on the edge of Essex?.
Jamiesons, Martins and McGonigals of Coleraine, Londonderry
and
Cullens, Grahams and Challenors of Dublin county and city.

Hi David

Your thread title says Anseel, your thread says Ansell?

Is it either one / both ?

Quite some time ago, I was researching "ANSELL"
and most of the data I was looking for was just over the border in Hertfordshire.

I'll see if I have the notes somewhere  . . . . .

Hi Ray

My direct family line of Ansells's are in Cambridgeshire, but this is a distant connected line that seemed to have moved down to essex on the way to London.

David

Do you have his will?
William Ansel probate 13 May 1734  (buried 4 May 1734)
William Ansel of Waltham Holy Cross - weaver
to be divided between his six children, no mention of his wife.
Mary Ansel
William Ansel
Sarah Dugard wife of Philip Dugard- blacksmith
Joseph
James
John

They seem to be listed in birth order. On ancestry under London wills and probate
