I'm using Family Tree Maker 2017 and have been adding a number of files from FamilySearch. One of the files that is of most importance to me is "Life Sketch" which provides personal details on my ancestors that I didn't previously have. When I merge the two files "life sketch" appears in FTM in "individual facts" When I open the file it shows for about 2 seconds and then disappears. After that it will not reopen unless I leave that ancestor and then return.
This sounds a little confusion even to me but I hope someone can understand my description and can advise me on how to keep open "life Sketch" so I can read it or copy and paste it to another file.
