I just realised that we don’t know the mother’s name for Francis so my reference to Elizabeth Fisher is probably irrelevant. Sorry.

The assumption was made that as Elizabeth Hunt was a servant with the Bayliss family it might be her.
Her family were neighbours to the Elsons.

The birth certificate would confirm his mother’s name.

I was trying to work it out before I spent the money. I have 2,169 individuals in my tree and if I have to buy a certificate before trying to work it for everyone it would cost a pensioner like me a lot of money. I spent £56 last week on 8 PDF's. I wanted to try and save some money.

Yes, I agree it is expensive, Alan. I can’t think of anything else to help.

Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a baptism record online nor is there a Hunt/Fisher marriage which would fit.

At the moment, we are just fitting together a possible scenario.
