25 Dec 1872, also at Thorpe.
Age 18, father Robert Eglington, decd., Carpenter

Thank you, I did know about the girls but sadly they died, will try find out where they are buried,  that might give some clues as to where Father Robert is buried.
Still no idea on Hannah,  she seems to have just disappeared.

No I don't know who Harriet was, haven't really looked too much at Amelia as she isn't related to me, my line is Hannah's illegimate daughter before she married Robert.
Might have to broaden the search.

Are they the dates they were in the hospital school?
Where did you find these records please?
Would that indicate Hannah had died?

They seem to be the dates they were there, with both boys leaving when about 14.
No info on parents in the registers, available on f.m.p, the children may have needed to be nominated or something like that :-\
Probably doesn't necessarily mean that Hannah had died, at any rate Robert's admission could have been just after the 1871 census.
