you may be having no luck because Burrington is not on the 1841 place index or Genuki.I think it is part of Ludlow by doing a google search so bear with me because the 1841 is not searchable by name and I will have to go through it page by page!Please correct me if its not Ludlow as I am only guessing.

My apologies, I should have included the district with my post! 

Yes, you're quite right, Burrington comes under Ludlow!

I think Burrington might have been in Herefodshire in 1841 can anyone local advise?
I can find it in Ludlow 1851 but not 1841.

Ludlow
Created 1st July 1837. Mainly in Shropshire, but included parts of Herefordshire.

Sub-districts : Cainham; Diddlebury; Leintwardine; Ludlow; Munslow.
GRO volumes : XVIII (1837-51); 6a (1852-1930).
Aston, Burrington, Downton, Elton, Leinthall Starkes, Leintwardine North Side (from 1895), Ludford (1837-95), Richard's Castle, Wigmore.

Registers now divided between Ludlow and Leominster districts.

No really thats fine.Its easy to tell from my 1841 disc that even the enumerators could not work it out at times.Did someone find him in 1851.I had a quick look but did not spot him although there are preeces in the area.I was wondering where you got the Burrington from.
