I stumbled across this as you do, I am Paul James Hallam, the son of Charles James who along with his older brother Fredrick Hallam, was reported missing in WW2 (although I did not know that until reading it on this site). My grandmother was from Tipperary, I never met her and I only saw Fredrick,my Father's Father twice when I was a child in Stoke market from the rear. I recall as a child Fred, my dad's older brother, dropping in and talking about the war. I know my gran Josephine was from main street Tipperary, I had the number too but lost the paper my father's sister wrote for me, I have a mental block at the moment and can not recall her name, my dad's other brother George visited now and again. Truth is the family was fractured for from what I can glean, petty reasons. I have couple of wartime photos of my dad Charles, I will take another look to see if Fred his brother is on them.
