Inquest or newspapers re Pasco death in 1827
« on: Wednesday 18 September 19 21:54 BST (UK) »
Charles and Mark Pasco, sons of Charles and Grace Pasco of Egloshayle, (Wadebridge,) were drowned at Trewornan Bridge in 1827, according to their gravestone.

Please can anyone help me find an inquest or newspaper article about this tragedy?

Many thanks

Royal Cornwall Gazette. 14 July 1827
Cornwall Quarter Sessions. At Wadebridge, last week, two young men, brothers named Pascoe, whilst dragging the river for fish, fell into an excavation in the bed of the stream, twelve feet deep, and were both unfortunately drowned.

Hampshire Chronicle 23 July 1827.
As two brothers, named Pascoe, the one aged 23, and the other 21 years, were dragging the river near Wadebridge, a few days since, with a net for fish, not being well acquainted with the place, they fell into an excavation in the bed of the stream, which is 12ft in depth, and before assistance could be afforded them they drowned.
