Mansell family in 1861 in Wales.

I am looking for Richard Mansell c1816 and his wife Elizabeth(Robinson) c1816 along with their children at least a Mary Ann born c1857 Abedare and Edith c1860. 

Mary Ann may be Birth Reg. Dec qtr 1857 Merthyr Tydfil 11a 372 mmn Robinson.

Yes that's the family. I have just realised I had a previous topic on this a few years ago and forgot about it.

I think I have just found Edith. death reg. June qtr 1875 Lewes(Sussex) aged 15. That is where Mary Ann married Thomas Stoner in Sussex in 1876.

On that other topic(Richard Mansell burial Wiltshire) Trish did find Edith Mansell bapt. 21/7/1861 St Brides Minor, Glamorgan parents Richard and Elizabeth although I have never found a birth for her.

Elizabeth's maiden name was Robinson, I have the marriage in Birmingham 1839 and William James Mansell mmn Robinson(GRO).

In 1871 Elizabeth is 58/59 and son William is 7.  Think she was a bit old to have had him at 51 or thereabouts  EDIT - she is 35 in 1851 so may be 55 in 1871

GRO maiden name search has no match for William James Mansell with mmn Robinson

1871 shows he was b Pewsey Wiltshire and the Dec 1864 birth reg on freebmd shows no mmn indicating he was illegitimate.  Richard Mansell died  Dec 1863

I have his BC Elizabeth Mansell mother Pewsey no father given, Richard had died a year before.
