Although 31 is correct looking at the other '1's, the year looks more like 1843 than 1845.

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
February 31 or 31 February does not exist in both Julian calendar and Gregorian calendar. It is used on gravestones when the date is never really known.

It is also used (with February 32 and February 33) for weather data.

https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/February_31 (gives three grave examples)

I wonder, does this also mean the year 1843 was a guess?

Has Helen been located on the 1841 census?

The stone no doubt was erected by a member of the family (tree on Family Search) and some 10 years after the Helen deaths.   My money is on Kristyahn.

George with daughter Margaret in 1851 census Prestonhaugh.
