Roadside marker Kilrush
« on: Friday 27 September 19 16:58 BST (UK) »
Traveling the roads of Wexford on g-earth, a stone 1998 historical marker was observed, but pixal limitation prevents reading the smaller print. The merker lies about 1.2 miles northwest of the parish church at Kilrush. Marker is on the section of road running northeast toward Gurteen Lower, just after Y junction of three roads. A large red roofed farm bldg lies just west on the west to east section of road. I would appreciate and ask a local to provide thr text of that stone marker. Kc

A resident of Kilrush has supplied me with a good photo of bicentennial marker. Thank you very much. KC
