Help finding place of James Prior 1743, & bride's surnam

Hi all,
I have a marriage for James Prior 22-9-1743 in Thame, Oxon. Can anyone please say where he was from? It looks like "Kirhetore".
If it is I can't find it anywhere on the maps.
Similary the bride's surname looks like "Heaver or Leaver etc??" of Brill near Thame.
Would appreciate some help here please.

Could Alice's surname be Cleaver?  Is there a "for sure" capital C on that page for comparison?

The place is written Kirtleton - possibly Kirtlington on the other side of Weston-on-the-Green?

I agree with bbart on Cleaver.  However, it would do no harm to compare with another example of C if you can find one nearby.

I was thinking 'Kirtlington & Cleaver', and the OFHS Marriage Index agrees with me

I have been back to the original register and agree Alice's surname is Cleaver and James is
of "Kirtlington"
