Emma Ison  c1852
George Ison c1833
Jane Ison c 1828

All give their birthplace as Melton.

I can see a George isom baptised may 1833 parents are james and Sarah at melton Mowbray. It is a transcription on familyseach.

There are also a couple of entries on fs for Jane

6 February 1826 and 9 September 1827, both with parents James and Sarah

Did he have a daughter called Ellen? Just thinking of the Fitz -Ellen part of the name.

I haven't found a Ellen yet, just Jane and a Maria. 

In 1861 Emma is living with George & Jane and is described as niece.
In 1871 she is living with William & Mary Dunnicliff and is described as granddaughter.

I will look into the Dunnicliffe family to see if I can find any clues.
