Thomas families from Anglesey
« on: Friday 19 August 05 00:40 BST (UK) »
Hi there

I have quite a confusing family tree really.

My Grandmother was Elma May Williams b 1910 her mother was Catherine Thomas b 1866 in Holyhead area. Her father was William Thomas b 1841 Llechylched, Anglesey William married Elizabeth Price from Liverpool. I think his father was Thomas though have no date of birth or area for him.. I also think William hada brother named Hugh b 1846 in the same village. Hugh married Mary b1841 in Llanfaelog

Now this is the fun part lol

My Grandfather was Hughie Gordon Thomas b 1913, His father was William Richard Thomas b 1863 in Llanfair ? Anglesey. His father was William Thomas b 1817 Llanbedrgoch, Anglesey. William married Ann (possibly Jones) b 1823 In Llanfair? I think the parents of William were William Thomas and Ellen Jones. I don't have birth dates for them either though I know they married in May 1816 in Llanbedrgoch

So I have both sides of the family who go back to the Thomas name in the early 1800's and virtually the same area.

I hope someone will be able to help me in some way and look forward to hearing from you
