Rathfarnham in 1933 - Convalescent Home
« on: Thursday 10 October 19 21:19 BST (UK) »
Hi All,

My grand-aunt went to a Convalescent Home in Rathfarnham in 1933.
No other details are known.
Any thoughts on how I could find out the name of this home?

Thanks very much,
Glen

Thoms Directory 1934 shows but one such Home in Rathfarnham i.e. Fetherston Haugh  (for the Adelaide Hospital in Dublin).
You should however find the connection

Thank you both.

She didn't die until 1992. The home was when she was a young woman.

Thanks for the info from the directory! I'll look into the Fetherston Haugh home.

Thanks very much,
Glen  :)

Thank you. We have managed to confirm that it was indeed the Fetherston-Haugh Convalescent Home.

Trying to access the records seems near-impossible though! The Trinity College Library appear to hold the archives but have informed me they are unable to perform a search  ???

Kind regards,
Glen
