Hi again, i,m trying to compile a list of death records for John Ellis in Shrops, got 5 so far but without details, wheres the best place free?

Depends on the time period you are looking at. If it is after 1837 then the GRO site is free, you need to register first. Familysearch and FreeReg and FreeBMD are all free as well. Internet Archive also has quite a few Shropshire Parish Registers as well.

No info about what years you are referring to

What do you mean “without details”

www.freebmd.org.uk has BMD transcriptions.  No ages shown for deaths 1837 to mid 1860’s so you need to use the ref on freebmd to get the info from this site

Thanks, sorry for the bland. No details meant i couldnt access the record in detail without paying and i was looking at any records before 1821 census of Wellington firstly but othere records will be useful
