The Scottish National Museum is in Chambers Street but the Scottish National War Memorial is in Edinburgh Castle so that is perhaps where your 2 x great uncle Peter's medals are.

Unfortunately, both Primrose Street and Corruna Place have been demolished and are now housing/work units. Lots of old Leith has changed.

Anyway, enjoy your visit and Ferry Road it is still standing as is Royston Mains Avenue.

Keep searching and you never know someday you may find out where your Great Grandmother is buried. I always feel that by doing our research we keep their memory alive.

Best wishes,

Dorrie

Thank you, so much Dorrie.
I'll keep searching, until I find her!
Your right, hopefully, one day.

I have a good feeling about it.

Indeed, keeps their memory alive

Best wishes

Nicola
