The youngest girl is

PEARCE, ETNA  EGLYNTINE mmn PARRY
Q1 1885 PONTYPRIDD  Volume 11A  Page 491

So in theory Harry dies 1884 - 1891 (but cannot find a death)

That looks have solved the mystery of what became of two of the sisters.  The death of Annie Budding agrees with Constance's age and the birth place of Emily (Julia) is fairly indicative of this being the right person.

Thanks

Using that logic I looked for Louisa Kate as Kate and forum her marrying Joseph Shortman in 1880 with the 1881 census showing then in Trevithin with her born Warminster 18633

Interestingly there's another Etna Pearce b Trevethin 1871 (mmn Trapp). She marries a Frederick Shortman. She's in the same orphanage as Constance in 1881

I think Joseph & Frederick Shortman are brothers

It may be a coincidence but there's a William Pearce b c1855 (location of birth unknown) in the Abergavenny asylum in 1881, 1891, 1901 and 1911 census. Had been an iron works labourer. He was admitted on 6 May 1872 and remained until his death on 24 Aug 1930

John & Harry (Henry) are together in Blaina in 1881, both ironworkers, lodging with an Evans family. Born Warminster, Somerset!

Possible death for John?

John Pearce

He could well be Charles' son born Dec Q 1854
