Sir John Burke Completed
« on: Friday 19 August 05 08:05 BST (UK) »
Patrick Colgan an ancestor born c1822 joined the Royal Irish Constabulary in 1842 on the recommendation of Sir John Burke, I am looking for the parish where Sir John Burke resided to try to locate the birthplace of Patrick.
Being a newcomer to Rootschat and somewhat antique I am unsure how to go about thanking the kind people who replied to my query, another question am I correct in stating that Marble Hill is in the civil parish of Loughrea? if so I have won as a Colgan family appears there in Griffiths valuation
