Missing kingdon
« on: Tuesday 22 October 19 20:05 BST (UK) »
I'd greatly appreciate any help in finding the death date of John (jack) Arthur kingdon (with an N) born 25 Oct 1920 West Derby and moved to Wolverhampton. In 1944 he married Dorothy b price but I heard he changed his surname to his wife's and might have remarried and changed it to his next wife's. I heard he died 20-25 years ago but finding the puzzle really difficult to untangle as he might have changed surname. Tia.

Any children born to the 1944 marriage?  Don't post details here if they are still alive but can they not answer your query?

Hi Carole I'm not in touch with John's family, his cousin was my nan and so I've done all the kingdons in my tree but can't work out what happened to him X.

Total longshot

Do you know Dorothy's middle name - she is shown as Dorothy B on the marriage reg

A Dorothy B Kingdon married in Staffs 1973 to a Williams - no birth reg for that name

A Dorothy Beeston Williams b 26.6.1909 died Staffs 1986

I can't find a Dorothy Beeston Price birth 1909 but it also means she would have been 11yrs older than John ???

Does he show on 1939 register, or is he blanked out and living with parents?

Using the free part of FindMyPast 1939 register.
Inputting Dorothy Brenda, surname Kingdon Price Williams, Wolverhampton, birth year 1924, gives one result.

Added:
Birth 4th March 1924
